Founder and President, Ed Garcia

Ed Garcia brings a wealth of experience from his distinguished 27-year career with the United States Secret Service to our team. As a seasoned security professional, he has successfully planned, designed, and implemented security strategies for U.S. Presidents, world leaders, events of national significance, and critical national assets. Notably, Mr. Garcia played a pivotal role in the 2016 Republican National Convention, overseeing the security measures for the host hotel where nominee Donald Trump, his running mate, Michael Pence, their families, and all RNC ranking executives were staying.

His leadership extends to supervisory roles in significant events such as the visit of Pope Benedict to Washington, D.C. and New York City in 2008, the 2008 Presidential campaign, and multiple General Assemblies of the United Nations in New York City. Serving as the Resident Agent in Charge of the El Paso Resident Office, Mr. Garcia directed Secret Service initiatives and operations across West Texas, including the training and development of special agents and support staff. He played a key role in building partnerships with state and local law enforcement agencies, focusing on new criminal threats related to the nation's financial infrastructure and cyber tactics.

In his capacity as an Assistant to the Special Agent in Charge in the Dignitary Protective Division, Mr. Garcia served as the Detail Leader for the Secretary of Homeland Security. He oversaw all protective measures for the Secretary, managing day-to-day operations, implementing contingency plans, and overseeing the intelligence stream on international threats. His earlier experience includes serving as an agent on the Presidential Protective Division during the administrations of Bill Clinton and George W. Bush. During this period, he led advance teams domestically and internationally and was trained as one of the elite agents assigned to drive the Presidential limousine. Mr. Garcia's remarkable career includes being selected to accompany former President Bush during his unannounced visit to Baghdad on Thanksgiving Day in 2003.
